The question I was actually asking was what version of the Operating System you have. Virtual memory in particular was an area that was much improved with later version of MacOS prior to MacOS X (which, of course, has an excellent UNIX implementation of Virtual memory, but would not be viable on your computer, as I�m sure you know!).
