Hi Chris If it has a parallel port you can get a USB to parallel adaptor. I got my Epson Stylus Photo to work with Panther this way. But whether related to this or not I had a lot of unplugging and re plugging when doing printing with it that may have been related to this or just poor driver support.
I moved it downstairs and got a Canon i865 (really impressive and I am well pleased with it) so I dont use the USB to parallel adaptor anymore - might sell on for a bit less than new or swap with something (?) (It is new with only a few weeks use and can enable all sorts of printers to connect to Mac - apparently). As far as the glitches I had - I believe I deleted an Epson driver in error (when troubleshooting) and then used the Gimp driver which was flakier. Then gave up and got the Canon because I actually wanted to get away from the Epson. (Cleaning cycles noise slow blocked jets etc) all the best Brian > My printer is an Epson 3000.
