I wonder what the legal stance would
be if a first party purchase the software illegally and then shortly
thereafter resold to another unrelated (and unknowing) party (with or
without other bits such as a computer). Is the second person then using it
illegally? They never said that they were a student and would certainly not
check the first parties credentials...In other words do the initial
conditions apply for the initial user only or every user regardless of other
conditions?
