Yeah, there was a voodoo card for early iMacs. Quite rare, have seen a couple on ebay in the past though. They were only made for a short while, gave you video out too I think.
They were 3Dfx Voodoo2 cards and thus only output video when the computer was running a 3D hardware accelerated screen. They had no on-board 2D capability at all but may have had a pass-through cable.
