Can you tell us what OS version you are using (i.e. 9 or X something?) If you are using 9 still then there are a number of packages that are mostly free now as everyone has gone to X to look for money...Ragtime for example... If you are using X, then I believe most people that do not need to manage hundreds of contact are indeed using Address book together with iCal and some inexpensive time management (billing) software (Mike K posted a link to this recently). If you have someone familiar with it at your organisation then using MySQL could be a good customised solution for you... Otherwise, the solutions tend to be rather bloated and/or expensive unless you require the additional features such as project management. Do you use MS Office for Mac?
