For me it was a sound issue first as its quieter down there and a space issue second as I have 2 large CRT monitor setup (Though one is playing up so I am looking for a local bargain), and 2 printers. But yes a bit of a shame hid down there.
BTW - any recommendations on a good but cheap way to get decent sound recording into my Mac? I got an iMic thinking that would allow the mics I had to work but they don't - or don't do stereo. A cheapish headset works OK with skype but not for decent recording. (I'm Wanting to try recording voice and guitar and then maybe adding tracks with other instruments. Don't feel a lot drawn to midi instruments to start with. And did I say cheap? Money is pouring into my life at a rate not equal to the rate it pours out! all the best Brian > Awww....it's too nice to stick under a desk :-0.
