BTW - any recommendations on a good but cheap way to get decent sound

had to work but they don't - or don't do stereo. A cheapish headset
works OK
with skype but not for decent recording.
(I'm Wanting to try recording voice and guitar and then maybe
adding tracks
with other instruments. Don't feel a lot drawn to midi instruments
to start
with.
And did I say cheap? Money is pouring into my life at a rate not
equal to
the rate it pours out!

Awww....it's too nice to stick under a desk :-0. Particularly if
it's one
of the MDD models with the shiny front and more-holes-than-a-cheese-
grater back.
