Battery and charging issues are VERY common on Wallstreets and I guess most of my fault finding approaches may well not be too helpful for you, but here goes ... Is it an Apple battery or 3rd party ? Any lights on the battery ? Does the battery charge in another machine or a known good battery work in yours ? Does it charge with the machine turned off ? Have you checked that the EMI shielding near the DC in socket isn't shorting to it ? Did you do any resets on the machine with the battery in BEFORE you had problems ? Is the PRAM battery good ? -- Best wishes Malcolm Cornelius - The Powerbook Fanatic http://www.pbfanatic.co.uk -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
