Prices on G4 Tis are a little strange - I guess due to their poor wear record, they seem to go for less than I'd expect. The machine would be between 5 years old and 4 years 3 months old. That damage is not uncommon and is most likely due to incorrect disassembly. It may well increase and break the other side of the slot making it difficult to use a disc without damaging it. The casing can be replaced but the part comprises all of the top section, track pad etc. and is hard to find in good condition. > Of course, if you can get it cheap via the auction then that would be > different.
