Er, if your machine works with other batteries I'd suggest it's a battery
problem.

The Wallstreet is one of the most troublesome for electrical problems,
however it's normally that the battery won't charge rather than won't power
the machine once charged.

I've never seen this fault with Apple Batteries only 3rd party ones.

I have stopped buying 3rd party batteries on eBay after returning 3 of 5
within 2 months of purchase.

CMD + OPT + O + F IIRC.

Then 

Reset-nvram
Reset-all

I think it'll make no difference, but you never know.

Shame as I have several for sale soon ....

I suggest you handle a Ti then as I think they are quite similar in feel,
quite light and flexible in use.  But I used a Ti extensively every day for
4 years and had no issues with it, but I'm not a touch typist.
