I've been very happy with the quality of service and support from my ISP -
www.fireflyuk.net - they have a variety of packages and offer things like
fixed IP addresses very cheaply.

One of the biggest plusses to me is that when calling with a problem (which
is rare) you actually get to speak to a human being who seems to understand
the business and your problem !

Oh and they aren't scared of Mac users.
