I'd like to third the recommendation to Telewest. When I was looking for a new flat last year one of my requirements was that I would still be able to get cable! I've been with Telewest for about six years and haven't had a technical problem with my broadband or phone line for at least the last five. I currently have the 4Mb service at £25/month although they also offer 512k service for £14.99 which is due to be upgraded (free) to 2Mb.
