To be pedantic, "SFTP *share*" is a misnomer in that sshfs is not
exactly set up for concurrent "sharing" with other accessors. We don't
have a true distributed file system here. You could write one using
MacFUSE as an underlying mechanism though.

The files that you've seen getting corrupted--is it possible that they
are concurrently being modified outside the knowledge of MacFUSE?
