2.1.11 is also taken by Benjamin's unofficial release. > IMO, it's wise to keep the number of owners exactly two. It makes sense. Two owners (+ several developers/contributors) should be enough. > If you agree with that approach, then as project 'owners' I would nominate > myself and preferably someone who has a long history of involvement in the > project, through mailing list participation and otherwise. I nominate Erik and Benjamin. These 2 peoples made useful changes to macfuse sourcecode so at least they know what they are doing. > Jeff Mancuso of ExpanDrive is one name that springs to mind. +1 to add him as developer/contributor, -1 to add him as an owner (for exactly the same reason Benjamin mentioned). > I would prefer git, too. Yep, github is way better than googlecode for code hosting. But I think that priority numero uno is to consolidate existing forks and finally make a release that kills unofficial builds. Only after that macfuse should be moved to github. I also have a lengthy proposal how to reorganize the source repository structure, but I do not want to post it until after the release. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
