With my recent hard drive issues, I've become (even more) concerned
about backing up my data.
Currently I use Time Machine to stay backed up to an external hard
drive (as soon as SuperDuper! gets updated, I will also add that to
the mix for a bootable backup). Also, I use the syncing capabilities
of Leopard and DotMac.

What I would like to do, is have an OffSite backup solution, just in
case of a catastrophic event.
Any recommendations for such a solution?
Right now, I'm considering doing a backup to (several) DVD's every few
weeks and taking them to the in-laws, and/or work for safe keeping.
What would be the best program for this, and how would I encrypt the
data for security protection?

any other suggestions?

Rick
