It's a G4 tower. Gray and white. I downloaded Vuescan but so far cannot get it to recognize the scanner.
A dialog box said to check System Profiler to make sure the computer found the scanner ... I did and the SCSI bus showed an Epson GT-9000, which I guess is what it looks like to OS X. But Vuescan still said it couldn't find any scanner. An FAQ on the Vuescan web site said to try removing the Epson Scanner file from /library/image capture/devices. Did that and rebooted. Vuescan still can't find the scanner. Am searching Epson web site for OS X scanner software. I'm finding a little bit, but nothing that says it would work with this scanner. Will try it anyway and report back.
