Red Squares = Muscovite Red Herrings? Sorry, couldn't help myself. I can offer nothing concrete, only an anecdote. I had the same problem with Help under one of the middle versions of Jaguar (10.2.4? or maybe 10.2.5?). It fixed itself with the next update.
