Hey Folks, Any recommendations for ~$200 digicams? I'm on the lookout for my stepdaughter's boyfriend.
I've looked through some of the 4MP reviews at steves-digicams, but quickly have become overwhelmed. Should the type of memory card weigh on the decision? Should I care about proprietary vs. standard AA battery types? If the main user of the camera is interested in point-and-shoot, and would most likely never use anything other than an automatic mode, can money be saved by buying a simpler camera, or has it become the case that more complicated possibilities (like shutter-speed priority etc) are always present in cameras with better lenses and better sensors? Any tips would be appreciated. Back to reading reviews. Bill | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be January 25.
