Dear Anne,
The easiest way to check, is to use the Epson Utility.
You should have an application called "EPSON Printer Utility". Start it
up and select your printer from the list. A new window will pop up with
several options. Choose the one "called EPSON StatusMonitor". It will
tell you the ink levels, guide you through replacing a cartridge, etc.
The names are as given by Epson. You should have had this utility
installed at some point somewhere on the drive when you installed the
printer. It may be hiding in the Utilities folder, but most likely will
be in the Applications folder.
