Thanks indeed, John, and Brian, you are all so wonderful. Just came back from Mactown where I left my sick iMac. I also just plugged in my Lacie, and low and behold, I can access everything now except the few things from the last two days. Now I shall try -tomorrow!! - to do this printer thing from my airport. They both sit in kissing distance from each other. Maybe it will work. Right now I am poofed from that trip to town. You know, as much as I am worried about this MacDrama, in the long run I shall perhaps learn a few more tricks and get my wormish-cable- mess-up a bit straightened out and all that accumulated cat hair removed. At least I have half of the cords already unplugged. That's what you call Gl?ck im Ungl?ck. And what do you mean by putting the print drivers unto my computers? Marta
