Thanks, indeed. I thought i might get there quicker, had hoped it just would find all the Printer stuff on my Lacie, because I had everything set up in such a way that I printed via Airport from anywhere in the house, on every machine, but everything was channeling through the iMac, I suppose. Now I guess i have to get the computers confused again as to who the boss is, but not having any idea how long this repair will take, I will go for the new adventure. I did put the printer utility on my desktop and tried to add the printer - well----, you know what happened. Thanks.----- work for tomorrow ----- or later!!! Marta
