Because of a problem with HD, I had to do an erase an install. Person at tech support said that moving my home folder to my external drive would keep everything safe, including mail (I use Thunderbird) addresses and folders and old mail. I had no problem restoring my safari bookmarks and iTunes library, but am having problems with mail.
I have dragged everything from my thunderbird folder from home folder on the external hard drive to the new thunderbird folder on the HD, and I can see the folders on the HD, but can't see them when I open thunderbird. It's probably a very easy step I'm missing. Can anyone help? Thanks.
