I gave up on it after my final post last night. I appreciate all the help you gave me. > http://www.appletechs.com/ Great minds think alike. I spent most of the morning googling "dsl" and "airport" , etc, and I came across the same web page. Looking through the archives, it seems the problem I'm having is not unusual with macs... and no one knows how to resolve it. The modem is working fine with my PC set to use DHCP, and the iBook will connect if it's hooked up directly with the ethernet cable. The problem - it seems - is getting the ABS to talk w/ the modem. I would think if it was a modem problem, I'd have trouble connecting with the PC as well. I will contact Iglou tech support, though, and see if they'd heard of similar problems. I'm going to set it aside for few days, maybe do an OS reinstall (or perhaps go ahead install Panther), and do some more research. Maybe if I take the ABS over to MacTown, they'll have a way to check it and rule out a malfunction. Thanks again, Tony | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be November 25.
