Yes, I would rather click a URL than copy & paste it. I would rather 
click the email address and have it do everything else. However, I am 
perfectly capable of copying and pasting should the need arise. I have 
had to edit more than one URL because it wrapped and broke the link.

However, all of the scenarios you stated in the above paragraph work in 
Communicator 4.75 (at least) forward. They also work properly in 
Mozilla. In text email, clickable links show up as clickable links. 
Email addresses show up as clickable mailto: addresses.

And, as I said earlier, I don't need a lot of useless formatting to make 
my point.
