Stuart,

I have the Eye TV box, and it works well, however there is a
shortcoming in that you could not turn it off without pulling the plug
(no off on switch), but I have an early model and I understand the
company has greatly improved it product line.

The changing of channels was a breeze, the quality of the picture was
good, the ability to keep it a small picture, or fill the screen was
also a good feature. Watching one program and recording another was
easy.

It was also easy to program the recording of a program, just go to the
T.V. guide and click on the show, it will then record to your hard
drive.

I haven't pursued the newer items on the market, but once I get moved I
will once again seek info., so if you end up with great input then
share with the rest of us.
