Nolan & LuAnn:

I demo'd and then purchased the pre-release of Discus 4. It works
very well and IS compatible with the new Epson's including the R220
and my R320. Very pleased.

I found the software that came with the printer too much of a hassle.
I had 'memory' errors some times according to the software. I am
running OS 10.4.4 with 2 Gb not System 8.x with 128 mg.

As to media, I purchased Verbatim Printable -R's at Office Depot,
spool of 100 for a little less than 50c/disc. Verbatim is one of the
most, if not the most, reliable DVD brands and the -R's are
compatible in more older players. They work in my old and persnickety
Samsung player which is merciless on bad media.
