I refrained from comment on Marta's post regarding GMail Notifier. I
had it installed since it was first offered several weeks ago, and
have found it to be completely unreliable after two reinstalls. This
morning it showed a red / through the menubar icon, so I hit "check"
and it absolutely and totally crashed the Finder to the point I had
to do a hard shutdown?the first since I've been using OS X. You can
bet it is now uninstalled and all GMail access will be by browser.
