OK, this may be a really simple question, but here it
goes... I have an older Laptop (original iBook) and I
have an airport card in it. Before I moved I had a
wireless network set up. Right now it is connected
directly through a DSL line. I know that almost all
the cafe's are set up with WIFI now. So, what do I
need to do (as far as switching settings) to use the
WIFI networks at these places. And, to switch it back
to DSL when I get home. And, how far is the reach in
these places? Can you access it from their parking
lot (I would assume so). Would the settings be the
same (as the coffee shop wireless settings) if I again
got my wireless setup going at home?
