This recent thread explored how to open a second optical drive. If you have
one drive, pressing either Eject or Option+Eject opens it. If you add a
drive, Option+Eject opens the second drive and apparently (hopefully) no
longer opens the first drive.

But the Aug MacWorld tells how to add a pull-down Eject menu in the menu bar
that will list all your optical drives, and open and close them. Follow
Root:System:Library:Core Services:Menu Extras to Eject.menu. Click on
Eject.menu to put the Eject menu in the menu bar.
