Hi all, I checked out all suggestions, and to those interested, I then settled on the Griffin Tech. product called iMic, plus the free Mac-only s/w for iMic users called Final Vinyl, which seems to be a good fit for my needs. Griffin's retail for iMic is $40, but I found it on eBay for $26, and it is even the latest version, not old stock.
