go to the apple store and lift one of those babys, then visualize carrying it around your neck at full speed to the opposite ends of an airport. it's a beautiful desktop machine posing as a portable. if you regularly use applications in the the field that require large display space, then you are the user the machine was developed for-otherwise i believe a laptop should be a mobile device.
i have a road warrior nephew with a lovely 17" glossy display, (heavy finalcut/photoshop/indesign/dreamweaver user) he loves it, and i haven't heard a peep. i have another nephew on a a 15" MBP doing the same, he just couldn't figure carrying the extra load. best...jf On Dec 18, 2007, at 9:02 AM, Nora J.
