My use of a laptop is more for data entry and info extraction. I do not use
heavy apps on it. I use the heavy apps on my desktop because that is where I
do most of my work. I think you helped me decide. I want something that is
light and portable for my laptop which does not need to use many heavy apps.
I do not do any graphics, etc. on it, but do on my desktop.

I work with a lot of old documents with old handwriting transcribing them. I
like to use the full screen of the desktop to expand the old document, then
transcribe it on the laptop. Right now I have a 22" monitor but now wish I
had gotten an even larger one.

I also hate the idea of having my laptop stolen, because of my travel, and
having all my bank records, etc. on it.
