Can anyone tell me why my infrared pointer won't work on "some' flat screen TV screens.
I gave a program the other night at the St. Matthews Library and a) I couldn't get my Keynote presentation to Play at full screen on the TV (It only took up about a quarter of the screen's surface. Too small for the audience so, since I have exported it as a PowerPoint presentation and saved on a DVD, ended up using a Windows machine. b) neither my infrared pointer or another person's worked on the TV surface. (It works just fine on both flat screen TVs at the Apple Store and my Keynote presentation plays to a full screen there too. I'm not giving people a very good impression of Apple computers when I give presentations. In November my laptow failed completely. I couldn't figure out what the problem was. Later I realized that, while the plug appeared to be firmly plugged into the computer, it wasn't really. Hope I do better when I try in at MacAuthority.
