I just received a zip file , it is a docx file which my little iBook G4 can't open. it tells me it is not safe to open, and to use a different application. This is also still on Tiger. I bring it along when travelling. It is light.

Marta,

Try to open it on your MacBook Pro. The TextEdit in Leopard will USUALLY open .docx files fine. I can't remember if you have Pages or not, but that also can read .docx. If you still can't get it, forward it to me and I'll send it back to you in a format you can read.
