A friend setting up a wireless connection needs to know the MAC
address of his Mac. If one goes to the About this Mac menu (under the
Apple) and clicks the "More Info..." button, the Hardware Overview
shows a "Hardware UUID" that is a long string of alphanumeric
characters with several dashes in it. Is that the same as the MAC
address?
