If you're looking for conversion, you might try an application called
Visual Hub. It's an abandonware converter that will convert to iTunes,
DVD, PSP, DV, MP4, AVI, WMV and Flash.

It's all drag and drop too.

I found a solution, but it is going to take some work to convert all the
movies so Snow Leopard can use them.
There is a free program (MPEG Streamclip) that I could not live without. I
have a JVC camcorder, and a Panasonic. They each record in different
formats. The Panasonic can be read by iMovie and Finalcut but the JVC is a bear and I have to convert the files from their format to Quicktime before
they can be imported into iMovie or FinalCut.
I also used this program to convert one of the educational video's and it now plays in Quicktime on Snow Leopard. I say it will be a big job, but there is a feature in Streamclip that allows for "batch" conversion. I use that when taking film off the camera so I'll put all the recorded videos
using SnapZ and convert them all at once.
Thought I would pass this along.

A word of caution about movies in Quicktime played in Quicktime in Snow
Leopard.

I had recorded several educational movies off Apple's tutorial site using Snap Z Pro. They would play great in Quicktime with Leopard but when I tried to play them on the machine that has Snow Leopard I got sound but no
video.

So, I don't know if there is a way to convert these so they'll work in Snow Leopard's Quicktime or not but I did want to send out a caution to those that may move to Snow Leopard and find some of their work doesn't play well.

If I find a solution I'll let you know, if you have one please pass it on,
sure would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

John
