John, you should be able to set filters with the RSS Reader, to only grab feeds that match your requests for feeds. I would suggest looking on a site you want to use that program on, and see if they have any info on rss feeds , possibly in the FAQ section, or possibly contact them via email and see if they have any info about using those types of apps on their site(s).
