John, No, I cannot help you and, in fact, hardly anybody can even help me anymore, since you all moved so far ahead out of my small circle. I did recently want to thank you about making me aware of something in my time machine I had not known, but all in all, I have given up trying to move ahead with you all, and yet, I do learn a lot and read all your contributions and exchanges. But what irks me so much in everything now, you mentioned readers, but everybody now wants to force unto me what I do not want nor need. iTunes is horrible anymore. If only I could order a song that I might want without being overwhelmed with the other junk.
How I enjoy a clean straight forward screen without something blinking here and then there and on and on. I fixed myself a home screen with what I want, just not to blown over by all these ads. How glad I am that I am as old as I am. I need help rather than stuff pushed down my throat. If you all can find me a clean cut news and weather program, I would surely be grateful. I am not interested to get the latest murder first nor all the dancing doppler pictures across my screen ,and what weather we have, I know that myself and what we MIGHT have next week . Tomorrow is enough for me, because the other stuff is wrong anyway. And then that rattle of speech! A bit of elocution would go a long way in understanding. I will tell you all, if I want to hear our news ans our weather, I turn on the German ARD. They have a speaker to speak the news of here and doesn't chat with the others in the news room. So, I now have put down in one big blob what I wanted to ask about in the last couple of years as things are getting worse ( at least for me) Marta On Feb 3, 2013, at 11:59 AM, John Robinson wrote: > Maybe there is nothing out there like I need?
