I haven't a clue. I could also be wrong about SD! using rsync... it's what I thought it used when I started using it in 2007, but I've not thought about it since. My gut feeling would be 'no', but you could ask the developer (Dave Nanian) at the support email <[email protected]>. From experience, he's really responsive.
