Hello Michael:
  Our doing is Industrial Automation.In the past,we use LinuxCNC to control 
three-axis synchronization.But it is not enough for our customers,they want 
to control Ten axis or more in Industrial Production.But question is that 
LinuxCNC can't meet it.To be exact LinuxCNC more like a control center and 
there are needing another communication center for synchronization.So we 
choose EtherCAT,through EtherCAT master to talk to EtherCAT devices we can 
make it.We want to combine combine machinekit with EtherCAT master on one 
board.It is our goals and it is not so highlevel goals.
