Thanks Brian and all the others who commented on this.  I agree, learning
will benefit anyone.  For my router selection, I just did not want to invest
that time.  I was probably overstating the case when I said some Macintosh
users hate Linksys, but I've seen some heat on this subject on another list.

Going a bit off-topic for this list, now that I have a G4/733 QuickSilver, I
will buy Virtual PC!!  Only because we want to read genealogy data on CDs
being produced ever increasingly by companies who refuse to cater directly
to Macintosh folks.  Evidently, these companies know that we are resourceful
enough to buy and use VPC when we have to.  Now I will learn more PC gargon
