I bought a linksys 4 port router. Still haven't been able to get it
to work *BUT* the fault lies totally with me. (Brain injury that
tends to cause cognitive problems where they didn't used to exist.) I
contacted linksys to ask for a verification of a term, making it
clear that I knew they didn't support Mac officially but that I was
asking a generic question. Within 2 hours I received a reply complete
with 3 Word document attachments explaining how to get the router
hooked up to my Macs.
Making personal contact, whether it's an eBay seller or linksys,
makes a world of difference (imho).
(And when I quit procrastinating about giving this set-up another
try, I'll be calling on all you linksys experts when/if I continue to
just not 'get it.')
