Its definitely usable with a Mac... the problem is doing firmware updates
using the .exe files.  There are workarounds but nothing that a typical user
needs or would want to bother with.  From my experience, they need the
updates to fix issues and provide for newer software compatibility (in my
case a VPN pass through).
