This seems like the place for this question: I am building a home network for high speed cable internet. I plan to buy a 4 port cable router and hook the lan to one port. I would like to use another of the router ports only for internet music in conjunction with an old mac. Question: what is the minimum mac that I need to add to my home music arrangement in order to get a reliable, good-sounding music stream. I love the way itunes works on my new imac but not willing to commit that machine to the task.
