+1 The recipient has to learn to read fast, lest they get the backhand a second time. The soft-and-cuddly time-wasting way of teaching people things is to help them do it "The Wrong Way" properly, then show them the alternatives, pointing out for example that using DynDNS is not giving out any more information than you already are (especially if you're mailing the IP address to an external service provider, since that message will include internal IP addresses).
