I remember seeing job postings for the Apple NC datacenter and it did include 
Linux, Solaris and some other *nixes.

I doubt Apple would risk using Mac OS X Server for such a large scale 
deployment...my guess, given how they've pulled back from the server side of 
things. Can you imagine a couple million Mac Pro or Macmini "servers" whizzing 
away in the huge complex? :)

I think Apple should just leave the server business all together, give us a way 
to migrate Apple SUS and NetBoot to proper *nix or Windows environments that 
all companies support...
