Sure it is . . .I was talking about data files which aren't invisible at all. From the description of the issues it sounds like directory damage; hence my recommendation to either try DiskWarrior to repair the directory or else copy the data elsewhere, reformat the data drive/partition, and copy the data back. ----------------------------------------------- There are only three kinds of stress; your basic nuclear stress, cooking stress, and A$$hole stress.
