Will do. But I guess there's no way to know beforehand if a drive enclosure 
supports the full ATA command set; it's 'buy it and see', unless there's some 
web site that tracks this sort of thing, which sounds like it would be pretty 
hard to do since manufacturers change product specs more often than I change my 
socks...

The other issue is that I'm at the mercy of what's available. Due to the recent 
disasters in Thailand and Japan, there are so few drives available anymore. I 
went to Fry's and they only had 1 FW external drive (G-Drive, which I bought), 
on mostly barren shelves. The rest (only about 3 others) were USB. So I might 
not be successful in finding what I'm looking for...
