This may seem like an odd question, but does anyone know if there is a way to use an iMac as a monitor for another Mac?
My iMac is old and aging and ridiculously slow. I have a Mini that I've been using for other things that I no longer need to do, and it's much newer and faster and I'd like to use it as my regular desktop. The only downside is the only monitor I have is a very old 15" which is, well, small. My ideal would be to use the iMac screen, use the iMac disk as extra storage (if possible) and connect it to the Mini. Obviously, Screen sharing is one way to do this, but it's kludgy and doesn't really work quite as well.
