My room is so quiet I can hear the ticking noise the clock makes every second. > The fans are low RPM noise --- not PC type fan noise. Kind of a lowish > rumble. There is a very quiet sound like that, but it is easily drowned out by the sound of the hard drives seeking, the ticking of the clock, or a stiff breeze outside. > Comparatively it is quiet but not at all like a mini or anything that really > is pretty dead quiet most of the time. No, agreed. It's not completely quiet. I should not have said 'dead silent' but it's pretty darn close. I just love having a machine with 6TB of drive space attached (7 when I turn on the external case) -- 'Luck is my middle name,' said Rincewind, indistinctly. 'Mind you, my first name is Bad.' --Interesting Times _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
